Mount Dukono is Complex Volcano type with elevation 1185 m asl location in the The isolated volcano of Dukono at the northern end of Halmahera Island one of the Most Active Volcanoes in Indonesia, on this photo when I visit on July 10,2012 at on Afternoon this Volcano produce of ash plume about 800-1000 m
local people said,this condition already continue during more than 5 years, but this year start from may 25, 2012 Mt Dukono produce of Lava Bomb with Strombolian eruption. Lava Bomb coverage area until 1,5 km from the Crater.
Climb Mt Dukono is one of very interesting Volcano, when on crossing Jungle we got ash and sand rain from the Volcano, after about 3 hours hiking arrive in complex of Mount Dukono.
At Night I hear 3 times Eruption with Lava Bomb.. but on this times, I can’t see the Lava because too Much Cloudy

Based on analyses of satellite imagery, the Darwin VAAC reported that during 8-9 May ash plumes from Dukono rose to an altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted 75 km SE.

Based on analyses of satellite imagery, the Darwin VAAC reported that on 18 May an ash plume from Dukono rose to an altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted 55 km E.

Based on analyses of satellite imagery, the Darwin VAAC reported that on 25 May an ash plume from Dukono rose to an altitude of 4.5 km (14,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted 185 km E. Ash plumes again rose to an altitude of 4.5 km (14,000 ft) a.s.l. drifting 130 km E on 27 May and 93 km NE on 28 May. An ash plume rose to an altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted 75 km NE during 28-29 May.
