BALIEM VALLEY TREKKING – West Papua Indonesia

West Papua Baliem Valley is inhabited by Dani tribe and Lani tribe, and popular call Baliem Valley Mountain. Baliem valley is 72 km. long, and 15 km to 31 km wide in places. The Baliem Valley, also spelled Balim Valley and sometimes known as the Grand Valley, of the highlands of Western New Guinea, is occupied by the Dani people. The main town in the valley is Wamena

This Trip will be combine trekking and Discover the unique and unforgettable Dani people and Lani People of Baliem valley in Papua

DAY 01 : Jaya Pura – Wamena

Follow the schedule for the flight to Wamena, arrive in wamena then trekking to anjelma village. You will sleep at Rumah Guru near the school it’s will be take about 4 hours to southerrn part of Baliem Valley. Lunch will be on Box and also dinner at Rumah Guru

DAY 02 : Anjelma Village – Kilise Village
After Breakfast at Rumah Guru, we will continue Trekking to Kilise Village, it’s will be take about 4-5 hours, and sleep at Simple / Basic Acommodation at Kilise Village

DAY 03 : Kilise Village Explore
Today is we will exlore the Native people of Dani Primitive surrounding Kilise Village, you will meet people also what they do for acivity , leep at Simple / Basic Acommodation at Kilise Village

DAY 04 : Kilise Village – Kurima – Wamena – Obia Village
after breakfast, we will packing and continue trekking also with porter to Kurima district will be take about 4-5 hours, then using transport to Obia Village at Northern part of Baliem Valley crossing wamena town. Arrive in obia village we will sleep at Obia Village at simple accommodation

DAY 05 : Obia Village explore the native people

full days trekking to Mummy Village to see the Mummy in Jiwika at sumpaima village, also see panoramic of Baliem Valley and culture of Dani People. We will trek back to Obia Village and sleep Obia Village at simple accommodation

DAY 06 : Obia Village – Wamena – Baliem Pilamo

Today you will enjoying the primitive traditional dance and also traditional Cooking Performance of Dani People. After that we will process by transport to Wamena Town, overnight at Baliem Pilamo Hotel

DAY 07 : Wamena – Jaya Pura

follow the flight schedule take flight to Jaya Pura, arriving in Jaya Pura we will transfer to Hotel then you will do easy city tour to visit sentani lake, Douglas Mc Arthur Monument and back to Hotel or Transfer to airport for your Next Destination
